What is CountryISP Home Internet?

CountryISP provides high-speed fixed wireless internet designed specifically for rural and underserved areas. Unlike traditional satellite or DSL, we use advanced 4G LTE and 5G cellular technology. Our unique "Tri-Network" approach connects you to the strongest signal available from America's top three major carriers, ensuring you get coverage where others fail.

Is this the same as Satellite Internet?

No. Satellite internet requires a dish aimed at the sky and often suffers from high latency (lag) due to the distance the signal travels. CountryISP uses ground-based cellular towers, which provides much lower latency. This makes our service significantly better for activities like video calling (Zoom/Skype) and online gaming.

How does the "Tri-Network" coverage work?

Most providers lock you into a single network. If that network has a weak signal at your house, you’re out of luck. CountryISP devices are compatible with the three largest nationwide networks. When you sign up, we analyze your location to determine which network offers the strongest, most reliable signal for your specific address and configure your service accordingly.

What speeds can I expect?

Speeds vary based on your location and signal strength, but our plans are designed to support modern household needs. Most customers experience speeds capable of handling multiple devices streaming HD video, working from home, and browsing simultaneously. We offer different hardware tiers (Home, Productive, and Extreme) to maximize speed potential even in difficult coverage areas.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. We believe you should stay because you love the service, not because you have to. All CountryISP plans are month-to-month. There are no annual commitments, and you can cancel at any time without penalty.

Can I take the device with me if I travel?

CountryISP Home Internet is designed for use at a specific fixed location to ensure network stability. However, because it is wireless, it is portable. If you are moving or going to a vacation home, please contact support to verify coverage at the new address so we can ensure the device will work seamlessly there.

How do I get the $35/mo rate?

The $35/mo price is our best-value rate available when you bundle your Home Internet with a mobile phone line and enable AutoPay. Without the bundle, our standalone internet plans are still competitively priced and offer the same great coverage and reliability.

Is there a data cap or "throttling"?

Our plans come with Unlimited Data designed for normal home usage. We do not have hard data caps that cut off your internet. Like all wireless providers, during times of extreme network congestion, speeds may temporarily adjust, but we prioritize keeping you connected. However, all wireless services are subject to fair use policies.

Do I need a technician to install it?

For most customers, no! Our "Home" and "Productive" plans are strictly Plug & Play. We ship the gateway to your door; you simply plug it into a standard power outlet, and it connects automatically. However, our "Extreme" plan, designed for the most remote locations, features high-power outdoor antennas that may require mounting for the best performance.

What is the difference between the plans?

The difference lies in the hardware capability.

Home: Standard gateway perfect for areas with decent signal.

Productive: upgraded hardware with better internal antennas for faster speeds and more devices.

Extreme: Industrial-grade outdoor equipment designed to pull in signals from towers that are far away, perfect for deep rural locations.

What if it doesn't work at my house?

We offer a 15-Day Risk-Free Guarantee. We are confident in our multi-network coverage, but if for any reason you aren't satisfied or can't get a strong signal, simply return the equipment within 15 days for a full refund of your service charge. We want you to be 100% happy with your connection.

What devices can I use with CountryISP?

We highly recommend using a CountryISP Router because our devices are equipped with proprietary technology designed to optimize connectivity and ensure seamless compatibility with all three major U.S. networks we partner with. We do offer a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) option for customers who already have their own 5G/LTE modem. However, please note that BYOD service is currently limited to coverage on the AT&T network only, and your device must be fully compatible with their bands.
